Congregational Ethics Study – March 27, 2022

Every 5 years, Church of the Brethren congregations are to review the Congregational Ethics Paper revised by Annual Conference in 2014.  Our congregation was scheduled to review this paper in early 2020 but the pandemic changed those plans.  Finally, we have been able to reschedule this review with the Northern Indiana District Shalom Team.  Our two hour session on Sunday, March 27, 2022 will be held one hour prior to worship from 9:00-10:00 and one hour following worship from 11:00-12:00.  A carry-in lunch will follow.  Prior to this review, members of the congregation are asked to review the Congregational Ethics Paper.  Paper copies are available on the table in the foyer of the church.  Or follow this link for a PDF version of the document: Congregational-Ethics

“…lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
–Ephesians 4:1-2
