The Columbia City Church of the Brethren celebrated 60 years of ministry in 2021!
Worship through the Decades. During the months of June-October 2021, we experienced the order of worship from one service in a previous decade in the life of our church. The original bulletin text was used, including worship resources and hymns used on that Sunday. Hymns were sung from the original hymnals, as much as possible. Sermons were written to go along with the sermon title provided in the original order of worship. The dates of each Sunday matched up with the date in 2021. For those who have been a part of the congregation for some time, they relived some names and happenings from the past. For those who are newer to the congregation, they caught a glimpse of where we have come from as a congregation. We also honored family groups who have remained active in the life of the congregation nearly all 60 years. Extended families were especially invited to attend during these Sundays.

The 60th Anniversary Celebration was held Sunday, October 17, 2021 where we honored all of our living charter members and took an all-church photo.
